I took it with me to Applebees where I sat down with a beer and a plate of nachos (2200 calories not counting the beer) and began to read where I last left off. Here is a quote from the book of why Lincoln won the Republican nomination in 1860:

Doesn't that sound just like why Obama won his nomination and the election.
To my credit, I didn't eat the entire plate of nachos, but brought most of them home in a doggy bag. I won't do that I again, I swear to God above. They weren't even all that good.
